Four Questions

No prerequisites. No vocabulary to learn first. Just four questions to check against your own experience — right now, in whatever situation brought you here. Your body already knows the answers. These questions give you language for what it's telling you.

First question
Am I maintaining my position, or performing expected agreement?

When the answer is clear — you know where you stand and you're standing there — this capacity is holding. You can feel it: a steadiness that doesn't depend on anyone else's approval.

When you notice you're shaping yourself to match what's expected — smoothing your position, performing alignment you haven't actually arrived at — the system needs differentiation. Start with: The Four Dynamics or the coherence threshold.

Second question
Am I in contact with what's present, or anticipating what's wanted?

When the answer is clear — you're responding to actual reality rather than a projection of it — this capacity is holding. You can feel the difference: the aliveness of genuine contact versus the flatness of performing responsiveness.

When you notice you're reaching toward what someone might want instead of what's actually here — optimizing for their satisfaction rather than making genuine contact — the system needs connection. Start with: The Four Dynamics or the overflow threshold.

Third question
Are limits communicated as information, or hidden as inadequacy?

When the answer is clear — your constraints are visible and navigable, stated as structural fact rather than apology — this capacity is holding. You can feel the difference: clarity that opens space versus vagueness that closes it.

When you notice you're apologizing for limits, softening edges, hiding what you can't do behind what you wish you could — the system needs boundaries. Start with: The Four Dynamics or the clarity threshold.

Fourth question
Does this build capacity, or just complete a transaction?

When the answer is clear — what you're doing leaves something behind that others can use, that works without you — this capacity is holding. You can feel it: the difference between finishing something and building something.

When you notice you're closing exchanges without building anything persistent, optimizing for completion rather than contribution — the system needs architecture. Start with: The Four Dynamics or the persistence threshold.

The pattern is already operating

Those four questions are the tetrahedral pattern — the minimum system for coherent exchange — compressed into its most portable form. Each question checks one vertex: differentiation, connection, boundaries, architecture. The vertex where you felt the most tension is where the system is asking for your attention.

You didn't need to understand the geometry to feel where it's holding and where it's not. The questions route you through the framework's own logic without requiring you to learn the framework first. That's by design.

These aren't prescriptions. They're recognitions. If you felt something land — a question that made you pause, a tension you could feel in your body — the pattern was already operating before you had language for it. The language just makes it workable.

Minimum viable practice

Three minutes

Ask the four questions once a day. Not as meditation. Not as ritual. Just check in with what's actually true right now. The vertex where you feel the most friction is today's practice — not to fix it, but to notice it. Noticing is the practice. The pattern does the rest.

After a week of noticing, you'll start to see the geometry everywhere — in conversations, in organizations, in how your body responds to different situations. Not because you've learned something new. Because you've given yourself language for what your body already recognizes.

The test: After engaging with any part of this site, check — did your capacity to notice compound, or did it deplete? If it compounded, the pattern is operating. If it depleted, something drifted. The work authenticates through your experience, not through claims made here.

Four questions. No certification required. No training needed. They're already operating everywhere coherent exchange happens. Your job is simply to notice, and then to follow whatever thread feels most alive.
